Get a Custom URL for your Facebook Page - Now You Don't Need 25 Fans

Want a custom url for your facebook page but don't have 25 fans? Well worry no more, yesterday facebook run an update and page creators are no longer required to have 25 likes to their page to get a custom url. Personally, I have been waiting for facebook to do this from long and finally, the change has come and I am so so happy. Now, no need for messaging your facebook friends begging them to like your page, or to drop your page link in every forum or other pages just to get likes.

Now you can get rid of the ugly page url and directly get a classy, neat and search engine friendly url as soon as you create a page. I have outlined the process below:

First, sign in to your facebook account and click on create a page tab. Choose proper category and then fill out the necessary information. After you are done with inserting your website url and filling the information, click on the edit info link, right below your facebook page name at the top. On the next screen, you will see a text field where you can select your custom url. Previously, it used to display a message "Your page needs at least 25 fans to have a username" but now the text field would be active and you can easily choose your desired url.

Note: This will work for only one page per account, if you have more than one page then you will as usual need to get 25 likes to get a custom facebook page url. So choose wisely.
