I, like you, am a lover of quotes and when I can't find the right one, I write my own. I love the quotes you have chosen as always with good quotes it is difficult to just choose one. So I have narrowed it down to two.
Here are my selections and the reasons why I chose them.
#1 Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune. - Jim Rohn
This quote hits me on a personal level. I never did well in school managing to graduate by the skin of my teeth; so much of what I have learned has been on my through self education and life experiences. It may not always look good on a resume but for those employers who gave me a chance they soon learned that I was an asset.

I just love this quote as I love simple reminders of life and that is exactly what this is a simple reminder to all that it is never to late. Seize the moment.

I really enjoyed all the quotes, they are very true. I have one of by Sydney J. Harris that I would like to share with you. "A Winner employs his defects in service of his assets; a loser subverts his asset in service of his defects." This may not apply to the business world in general, but it does apply to our most important asset and that is ourselves.
